Luckily we have many airports within a 2-hour radius of Chattanooga: ATL* - Atlanta is approximately 2 hours away BNA* - Nashville is approximately 2 hours away TYS - Knoxville is approximately 90 minutes away HSV - Huntsville is approximately 90 minutes away *ATL and BNA airports offer a comfortable, climate controlled, wifi enabled shuttle with Groome Transportation for approximately $60 per person each way. Alternatively, you can consider renting a car.

We know - sorry about that :( Chattanooga plays host to many events through the year and we generally find hotels expensive compared to other cities. Adding to the price for our weekend, Chattanooga will host the annual "Head of the Hooch." This rowing event is the nation's 2nd largest and is open to rowers across the world.

You can... however we recommend securing accommodations early. In 2015 The City of Chattanooga updated short-term housing rental regulations - this makes it difficult for owners to obtain necessary permits and limits locations where AirBNB's can be setup. As a result, AirBNB and VRBO rentals fill up quickly. To make things a little MORE difficult, the weekend of our wedding will host the "Head of the Hooch" rowing competition on the Tennessee River, so we expect housing to be difficult to secure outside our blocks.

That's up to you! Chattanooga downtown is accessible through free electric shuttles (www.gocarta.org). Additionally, if you are staying downtown, parking can be extremely limited. The weekend of our event will also host the "Head of the Hooch" rowing competition. Parking is limited and expensive! Consider Ubers to travel locally.

We should be either at peak or just past peak fall foliage, depending on our summer rains. Early November in Chattanooga averages a high between 60 and 65 degrees (15 - 18 Celsius) and nights averaging between 40 and 45 degrees (4 - 7 Celsius). If you are joining us for the Welcome Reception on Friday night, the event will be mostly indoors, however you may want to dress in layers to walk the park and surrounding Northshore area. For our Wedding Day the ceremony will be indoors, however weather permitting we will enjoy light refreshments and live music prior to the service just outside the church. The reception will also be outdoors on the Tennessee River and will be in the evening. Patio heaters will be on hand in case the temperatures are chilly.

The gift of your presence at our wedding is enough for us. We ask for no gifts, but to join us for a fun, relaxing, and great weekend in the gateway to the south at one of the most pretty times of year. For the Welcome Dinner and Bye Bye Brunch, casual is the name of the game. For Wedding Day we ask all guests to dress in Cocktail Attire.

We were REALLY excited when we toured the Aquarium. We've visited multiple times, but walking the space in the lens of an event gave us an opportunity to show you our beautiful city, enjoy the aquarium (yes! Admission to the River Journey after-hours is included in our event).

We thought some folks might enjoy getting together on Sunday morning and have setup this brunch for those interested in having one last weekend meal with us. The Chattanooga Choo-Choo is a great spot for brunch. Nic and Norman's operates in a great section of this vintage restored train station. Entrees with a non-alcoholic drink will cost around $25 per person.
